5-HTP, short for 5-hydroxytryptophan, is a derivative of the amino acid tryptophan, and is converted in the brain, into the neurotransmitter serotonin which influences everything from appetite, to mood, to sleep.
We are delighted to introduce 5-HTP to the Lamberts® range and use a natural source, extracted from the seeds of Griffonia simplicifolia.
Each tablet provides a full 100mg of 5-HTP.
How to take:
Take up to 3 tablets daily, half an hour before meals or half an hour before bedtime or as directed by a practitioner or pharmacist. Do not exceed recommended daily dose5-HTP is best taken for periods of up to 3 months.
